Alan Wake post: OK. Technically I am not allowed to make posts about this game yet (aside from previews because the game doesn’t come out for 3 more weeks) but I had an idea that I am far too lazy (yet somehow too busy at the same time) to work on.
In Alan Wake there is a Xbox 360 with a game called Night Springs (not a spoiler btw) laying on a desk. So naturally, my Matlock brain starts making sure that the rabbit hole on that didn’t go any deeper. It doesn’t. That said, it turns out that nobody owns nightsprings.com which made me think about buying it, putting some insane shit on it like it was viral marketing for another game in the AW universe and then slowly adding crap to it all while watching gaming blog after gaming blog run with it trying to decode what was going on. I realized it would take as many hours as that last sentence has words. I gave up.
